When is the RSVP deadline?

August 15, 2025 via Paperless Post

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Formal Attire. Deep colors & textures encouraged.

We recommend bringing a shawl or a jacket as the temperature drops in the evenings and the wedding is all outdoors. There is grass throughout the venue, so block heels are also encouraged.

All other events are casual attire. Please avoid bright red for the Tea Ceremony.

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Southern California! The days are usually in the 70s, but people are often caught off guard by the temperature drop at night. The ceremony and reception will be all outdoors. There will be heaters, but we recommend bringing an extra layer.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

We will do our best to accommodate your dietary needs! Please let us know your restrictions in your RSVP response.

What is a Tea Ceremony?

A Tea Ceremony is a Traditional Chinese Wedding Custom where the couple serves tea to their familial elders (parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles, etc.) as a sign of respect and gratitude. In return, the couple receives blessings, well wishes, and hong baos (red packets) as tokens of love, luck, and prosperity. We’re including our variation of the tea ceremony to celebrate our families & honor Alisa’s culture.

Family will be receiving additional information soon. Friends are welcome to attend & spectate.

Where can I park?

For the wedding, there is no parking at the Adamson house. We have reserved parking spaces at Malibu City Hall and shuttles will be running to and from the Adamson house. Please indicate if you need a parking space in your RSVP.

For Cambria Hotel guests, there will be shuttles to and from the Adamson House. Paid parking is available at the hotel.

Do you have a registry?

We’ve currently opted out of having a registry. If you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, we will be accepting hong baos (red envelopes) & cards at our wedding.
